  We loved our short break at Groom Cottage. The setting is beautiful in a woodland area and the exterior and interior of the cottage are very inviting, well kept and… read more immaculate. The cottage was extremely clean, with comfortable beds and fresh linens.

We loved the little welcome pack of biscuits, coffee and crackers. A lot of care has been taken to make this a really comfortable stay and there are lots of little touches included that make you feel well looked after.

The nearest beach is less than 10 mins drive and it is close to several larger towns.

We’d recommend this for a relaxing break in Devon.

Groom cottage is a perfect base for exploring the local countryside. It is fitted out to a high standard and is a home from home. The beds are very comfortable with lovely soft bedding. It was great to wake up to soothing birdsong. Surrounded by nature there are ducks on the pond and horses, sheep and cows in the fields. A calm, relaxing place to stay but only minutes from the stunning beaches of the Jurassic coast. Would thoroughly recommend!
